Fremont Indian State Park & Campground

Fremont Indian State Park & Campground is a hidden gem in Utah! It’s a must-stop to explore this wonderful, fascinating country. There are two campgrounds: Castle Rock is a paid dispersed campground with spacious sites, privacy, and fantastic views. Sam Stowe is located up the highway just a few miles away and is a full hookup campsite with large sites and privacy.

I highly recommend stopping at the visitor center’s museum. There, you’ll see many artifacts and information about the area’s history, the Indians who lived in the canyon, and the settlers who came there.

They have a small retail shop, where you can purchase ice, souvenirs, snacks, and wood. Additionally, you can pay for either campground there.
